Faith Lutheran Church is committed to sharing the faith in Jesus Christ and equipping people with this faith that works in daily life.
We are a congregation associated with The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. As such, we accept the three universal creeds of Christendom (the Apostles, the Nicene, and the Athanasian) and the Lutheran Confession as the formal expressions of our interpretation of Holy Scripture.
We follow the Biblical principle that Faith Alone Saves. This means that we believe that faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is the only way to be saved, and that such faith is a gift of God. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe our greatest responsibility as a congregation is to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19,20)-to make disciples-by living the Great Commandment (John 15:12)-to love one another as Jesus loves us.
We further believe in the Priesthood of all believers. That is, that all members of the church can and are urged to pray for one another, assure each other of the forgiveness of sins, and to serve one another with whatever spiritual gift(s) God has given them.
Our congregation is BIBLE CENTERED OUTREACH ORIENTED WORSHIP AND PRAISE MOTIVATED FAMILY FOCUSED PRAYER RELIANT STEWARDSHIP DEDICATED.
We know that you will feel welcome here, you will grow spiritually here, and that you will make a difference here!
