Our Ministries

Faith Lutheran Church

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a ministry through which lay members of Faith Lutheran are trained and organized to help provide Christian caregiving to members of our congregation and community. This multiplies the amount of caring ministry Faith can provide by giving us a whole team of skilled caregivers who are equipped to bring Christ's healing love to those who are grieving, in crisis, or experiencing other stresses in life.  If you or someone you know could benefit from Stephen Ministry, please speak with the pastor.

Food Pantry

A free food giveaway that occurs at Faith on the first Saturday of each month for any who are in need. Food distribution begins promptly at 8am.

Lutheran Women's Missionary League

The LWML is a women's auxiliary organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod that supports district and national mission efforts through the collection of mites (offerings). The LWML also encourages and equips women to share their faith in Jesus Christ with those in their corner of the world. The LWML ladies of our congregation gather on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 10am in the Friendship Room for Bible study. All women are welcome to attend.

Fidelis Guild

The Fidelis Guild is a women's group that's responsible for supporting the church through various activities (such as our annual rummage sale in June and our Pork & Sauer Kraut supper in November). They also provide the women of our congregation with many and varied opportunities for fun and fellowship. They meet on the first Monday of each month at 7pm in the Friendship Room.

Altar Guild

Members of the Altar Guild express their love of the Lord with a commitment to keep the Altar area in readiness for worship. They are responsible for changing the altar colors to go with the season of the church year as well as preparing the elements for the celebration of Holy Communion. They are led by Rachel Miller.

Music Ministry

Faith is blessed to enjoy the musical offerings of Sanctuary and Bell choirs. Our Praise Team leads us in song at our contemporary service, and are complemented by a group of youth musicians who lead on the fifth Sunday of the month or in the Praise Team's absence. At our traditional service the organ accompanies congregational singing.  Each year our Music Ministry arranges an Advent / Christmas themed concert to help us ring in the season. Please see our Music Coordinator, Harry Krause, if you would like to participate!
