Our Confirmation Program

A three year program with with 2 yers of pre-confirmation instruction as a part of Sunday School and one year of additional confirmation classes.

This 2026-202 instructional year

year 1 - 4th graders / 1st year students / those who did not complete 1st year requirements
year 2 - 5th &6th / 2nd year students
year 3 (confirmed May 2026) - 7th graders

Pre-Confirmation

Expectations:

Attend at least 80% of Sunday School classes
Attend worship regularly
Complete sermon notes (year 1 - 10 based on children's message & year 2 - 15 based on main sermon)
Serve as acolytes
Participate in at least 3 servant events
Learning the Catechism "by Heart"
- year 1 - 10 Commandments and The Creed (& meanings)
- year 2 - The Lord's Prayer and Baptism (& meanings)
Assist in Serving at the Confirmation Banquet

Expectations:

Complete a capstone Project (2-4 page Essay)
attend all afternoon instruction ( with parent-on-duty responsibility)
